NEW BEGINNINGS
Our Honey Bunch Collab, New Prints & Finding Light in the Chaos
If I’m honest, the past few months have been a blur of boxes, bubble wrap, missed naps, and way too many cold cups of coffee😴😴😴.
Between moving house, painting the new house, hubby spending long days getting everything up to scratch while I juggle mum life, and keeping Paper & Beau ticking along — there have been days where I’ve felt completely overwhelmed. But somehow, in the middle of all that chaos, something really beautiful has come to life… and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.
Our new Honey Bunch x Paper & Beau collab is here — and it’s been such a joy to create. This little collection of tees is filled with everything we love: soft pastel & happy colours, playful hand-drawn designs, and that little spark of magic that makes a child’s outfit feel fun. There are 9 unique designs in this drop, each one lovingly created with a whole lot of giggles, imagination, and intention. We wanted them to feel like sunshine — light, happy, and a little bit nostalgic.
Alongside the tees, I’ve also launched a few new prints that are close to my heart. I’ve been leaning into themes of joy and simplicity lately — bursts of happiness, soft colours, and sentimental details that feel timeless. I think when life feels a little bit messy, it’s natural to crave softness and calm. These pieces were a way for me to pour that energy into something beautiful and shareable.
And in the midst of the busy, I’ve been learning (slowly!) that taking even the smallest moment for myself makes all the difference. A quiet 10 minutes with a coffee before the house wakes up. A walk around the block without pushing a pram. Even just deep breaths in the pantry while no one can find me. Self-care doesn’t have to look like bubble bath and spa day, it can be small, grounding rituals that remind you you’re still a person too. If you’re a mum trying to juggle it all, I just want to say, you’re doing an incredible job. And you deserve little moments of stillness, joy, and softness too.
Creating new work during this season of stress has been strangely grounding. It reminded me why I started this business in the first place — not just to sell pretty things, but to make meaningful keepsakes and create small moments of joy in everyday homes. And even when things have felt out of balance, sitting down with my iPad (with a toddler climbing all over me & a baby attached to my hip) has kept me connected to what really matters.
If you’ve been feeling stretched thin lately — whether you’re a fellow mum, a small biz owner, or just navigating your own big changes — I hope this leaves you feeling seen. You’re not alone in the chaos. Thank you for being here, for cheering me on, and for letting my work find a place in your family’s story. I can’t wait to see your little ones in our new tees — and I hope they bring a little brightness to your day, the way creating them has brightened mine.
